Verisys Announces the Opening of their Baton Rouge Office
Verisys is extremely pleased to announce its expansion into the State of Louisiana. Earlier in August the renovation of the space, formally a bank, was completed and the new office was set up and opened for business. The office is located in downtown Baton Rouge just two blocks from the Capitol Building, which happens to be the tallest Capitol Building in the entire country. The beautiful, new space is not far from the Mississippi River, LSU, and the USS Kidd Veterans Memorial & Museum.
Tanesha Richard, Verisys Senior Project Manager, will manage the 26 personnel who are working in the Baton Rouge office. Tanesha has 17 years of experience working in the health care industry including management of claims, call centers, membership, billing, and project management.
“I am very excited about this opportunity because I’m ready to move into the next phase of my career and utilize my years of health care experience,” shared Tanesha. “I am proud to say I work for a company that will enhance the overall health care in the state of Louisiana.”
Tanesha and her family are native to Louisiana, but she’s traveled around a lot due to her Dad being in the military for 25 years. She is married to a local Pastor and loves spending time with her children, family and friends. She enjoys traveling, shopping and a good Hallmark Channel movie.
The Louisiana Department of Health and Verisys Corporation joined forces earlier this year to fulfill a shared commitment to ensure Louisiana Medicaid recipients receive care from fully credentialed and enrolled providers. (press release)
“We chose to partner with Verisys because as a state we are committed to providing our residents with the highest quality of health care,” according to Jen Steele, Louisiana Medicaid Director. “Partnering with Verisys is expected to enhance the quality of care for Louisiana’s Medicaid recipients, while simultaneously improving administrative efficiencies.”
“The opportunity to contribute to and support those working to elevate Louisiana’s health care system is a great privilege and distinction,” John Benson, Co-founder, and CEO of Verisys explains. “We are eager to exceed expectations and help set the stage for Louisiana to lead in the areas of provider credentialing, enrollment and monitoring.
We extend our warmest welcome to the new Verisys employees in Baton Rouge and to our partners at LDH. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.
